There are so many options out there, each claiming to be the best no wonder people are just down-right confused about what to do for the best!
The thing is, the right meal plan is different for everyone. What works for me may not work for you. Everything about us is different from the size of our stomachs, to stress levels, sleep patterns, amounts of exercise, quality of liver function etc
The only way to find the best plan for you is to do consistently and test.
Consistently is the key word here. It can be so easy to sack off a plan if you don’t see immediate results, but you have to give it a chance to work.
The one tip I can give that I truly believe does work for everyone
EAT REAL FOOD
Trust me, your body will work better and thank you for it.
Will 100g of rice form a microwave packet be absorbed the same way as 100g of pure rice that is boiled and drained?
No. The removal of some fibre and addition of preservatives means the microwave version will have significantly lower absorption rate therefore leaving you with less energy for the same number of calories.
Getting rid of processed food can have a huge impact on your body’s ability to burn fat and build lean muscle and have a massive impact on your energy levels.
Does this mean I never eat processed food? Course not, some days when life is busy it just makes things easier and fair play.
But I do try to limit it where possible – trust me it really is worth the effort
