So many times in life I have hesitated or held back because the time wasn’t right and things weren’t perfect.
The things I have missed out on due to needing things to be bigger, better or have guarantees of success.
I have learnt over the years that something is better than nothing, so an ok product is far better than one that never sees the light of day.
Women in particular are buggers for crazy high expectations on themselves and expecting everything to be spot on before they can share with the world.
Men seem to have a very different perspective, Im generalising I know but on the whole its true.
You see a job spec and a man will think “Oh I know how to do 35% of that I’ll apply” a woman on the other hand is likely to think “I only know how to do 85% of that, I cant apply”
True or not?
My rule in life is if it’s a 7 out of 10 then its good to go.
Wait for a 10 out of 10 and it may never happen.
Done is better than good.
Drop the need for perfect and just get out there and do stuff – perfect is boring anyway
