At Believe and Achieve we specialise in working with ladies over the age of 40 and over size 16

Why?

Because generally these ladies have tried everything to get the bodies they want. They have tried every diet, bought every DVD and read every book.

Many of these attempts have involved extreme measures and strict rules. These can be fine in the short term but there aren’t many people who can stick to so many restrictions long term.

Deep down we all know there is no such thing as a quick fix and I think eventually we all get to the point where we just want a simple, healthy solution.

At B&A we believe there are 3 main reasons why people struggle to achieve long term health success

1)      Cutting out food groups

2)      Over exercising

3)      Trying to do it alone

Lets take a closer look at how we can fix these

NUTRITION

The biggest mistake people make cutting out entire food groups for prolonged periods of time.  For many the word diet automatically means restrictions, deprivation and even going hungry.

Even before we have started we know it is going to be hard.

The best way forward is a wholesome plan where NOTHING is banned. Its just food, some takes you closer to your goal some doesn’t.

Following an 80/20 rule is far more manageable long term, this plan is healthy enough to see results but also allows for treats each week meaning we never have to cut anything out.

 

EXERCISE

The biggest mistake people make is thinking they have to exercise 5-6 times a week and suddenly hitting the gym nearly every day. More often than not many people exercise endlessly without a clear and progressive plan.

Its time to train SMARTER not HARDER

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is the most effective way to train. This has been scientifically proven to burn 9x more fat than regular cardio. With HIIT we can get better results in shorter time – its a no brainer.

3 x 20 minute HIIT sessions a week and the results will soon show.

 

MINDSET

The biggest mistake people make is trying to take tackle this journey on their own. Its hard work and without support it can be easy to go off track. Working on your own there is very little accountability so who knows if you do one less press up or eat chocolate for breakfast, lunch and dinner?

The fastest way to transformation is changing your internal beliefs and this can be hard on your own.

Investing in a coach that can devise a clear plan, support you as you do it and pull you up when you dont can really help keep you on track.

Everyone needs support and a helping hand every no and then. You dont need to do this on your own.

We can change the body with diet and exercise, but if you want the changes to last then the mind set has to change as well.
